You know what I am going to say don’t you..

I simply hate being second and especially when it was that close.. amazed it was not called a dead heat..!!!

Fubar probably was an unlucky loser.. if only.. that is twice at Market Rasen as it was the same when he was second in his bumper there on his first racecourse appearance.

Quentin Bevan probably felt weak from shouting his horse home.. and I was so longing to tell all what his name really means..Those of you who were in the military I am sure can guess..

David Bass nearly missed the ride as his temperature was too high.. And that was before the race.. It might have been higher after?.. Those temperature guns are not 100% accurate. He passed the second time..

Sadly I missed out on a virtual near winners drink with Steward Jeremy Bradbeer and Chairman Tommy Cooper..

Back to today..David Bass, Ciaran Gething and Chester Williams all here to ride out this morning.

We jumped a few over hurdles on the all-weather

Kevin Orchard, Mike and Sarah-Jane King and their children Isabella and Henry were here second lot for a first visit to Thorndale

Liz Humphrey was here third lot to see here KBRP horses Yeavering Belle and Shinobi

Jane Beyts was here to see her KBRP horse Shinobi.

Andy Nixon was here to see his KBRP horse Dansant Express.

Peter Jones was here to see his KBRP horses Yeavering Belle and Dansant Express

Fiona Broughton Pipkin – was here to see her CSWR horse Hes No Trouble

Charles Levinson was here to see his 5 year old Schiaparelli / Malindi Bay mare

We have no runners today but we do have one tomorrow at Bangor On Dee.. Yeavering Belle runs there and for my thoughts please click here.

Archie plays his first game of cricket today.. At long last.... Tlking cricket .. we ahve waited all this time and England are not at their best!

I am not good when it comes to working in the office and this story reminded me of what I too might have done..

The new employee stood before the paper shredder looking confused. "Need some help?" a secretary asked.

"Yes," he replied. "How does this thing work?"

"Simple," she said, taking the fat report from his hand and feeding it into the shredder.

"Thanks, but where do the copies come out?"
