Plus 14 and dry when driving in.

It was rather pleasant weather at Worcester.Indian summer weather..and all the staff were helpful and friendly.

Mergeela is just not wanting to be a racehorse. She might have won a bumper at Wincanton but that form has not been franked.. even the horse that was second to her that day pulled up before she did yesterday..

Annoying as Mergeela is a very good work horse at home, but when it comes to the racecourse we see a very different horse.

Trainers have seen that before.. good work horses don’t necessarily make a good racehorse and all too often slow horses at home do.. Mergeela will now head home to Ireland..

Back to this morning...David Bass was in to ride out a couple of horses

Our first work morning..exciting..winter is coming. You can watch their work here - First Lot, Second Lot

Steve and Chris Adams  were here second lot to see their KBRP horses Silver Kayf and Pond Road.

Third lot Nicholas and Jill Sperling were here to see their KBRP horses Sadlemor and Lord Apparelli.

Graham Potts was here mid morning for his vet visit.

All Puns Intended..

"Doc, I can't stop singing The Green, Green Grass of Home."

"That sounds like the Tom Jones Syndrome."

"Is it common?"

"Well, It's Not Unusual."

Two cows are standing next to each other in a field.

Daisy says to Dolly, "I was artificially inseminated this morning."

"I don't believe you," says Dolly.

"It's true; no bull!" exclaims Daisy.

And another.

An invisible man marries an invisible woman.  The kids were nothing to look at either.

To finish.. Happy birthday to Sandie Wilkinson.. Sandie has been my accounts person for any many years.. Have a good one Sandie..
