Plus 11 and dry when driving in.

A good day in the office always helps shift a cold.. Much to the relief of my staff yesterdays two winners and a second meant a lighter headed boss this morning. Gone the headache and double vision!

Phil and Gill Andrews invested in racing by buying a share in the KBRP horses Blazon and Vinndicaton from this web site and then they bought Dandy Dan.

Yesterday their Dandy Dan overturned a 7/2 odds on shot of Paul Nicholls to win his first hurdle race after winning his bumper, also at Ludlow, in the spring.

Dandy Dan was always handy looked beaten at the last (after a slow jump), but half way up the run in he put his head down and you could see he and David Bass were determined to win and that they did. He showed guts.

Our second runner of the day Little Chunk finished second and that was not too bad a run. He jumped well and ran to the line.

Our third runner of the day in the bumper Vinndication was always handy and with about 8 horses in a line a furlong from home young Richie Condon gave him a couple of smacks and they powered a length clear to win.

Huge celebrations from his happy team who many had made the long journey to Ludlow.

It was Richie’s first winner for us and the Moremoneythan Partnership of Phil and Gill Andrews, Philip and Sandra Arkwright, John Benson, Susan Brien, Chris Hill, Geoffrey Irving, David and Frances Ratcliffe, Darren Smith, Colin Stewart, Dave Wharton and Gerry Worcester had something to cheer and much to look forward to.

This email pinged across this morning..

'Good morning Kim

Wow, I am still and was speechless after yesterday’s excitement! Peter said at the beginning of this journey “if and when you’re in involved in a winner it’s better than most if not everything you’ve ever experienced in your life” to which I replied “everything?” and he gave me that look he does and smiled and to be fair to him his magnificent description was true, every word of it!!!

Good lord, what a feeling!!!

Thank you so much for the experience and the job yourself and your superb team do Kim, incredible!

Five runs in total between Monrocco, Dusty Pearl and Vinndication and I’ve witnessed an early retirement, an injury (recovering) and now a win....what a roller coaster! That said if you continue to deliver a 20% win rate for me I think I’ll need to bring a defribulator with me in the car from now on!

Keep up the great work

See you soon, from a very happy owner!

To finish Ludlow..It was very good to see Sam Morshead yesterday.. Supporting son Henry.

Champion Chase was sold for £8000.00 yesterday at Ascot Sales and has a good new home with Martin Bosley.

Our vet was in to scope a couple
