Plus 3 and dry when driving in.

A welcome winner for John Perriss yesterday at Huntingdon.. John has suffered a fair bit of seconditis recently..

Lots Of Luck jumped off in front and the jump that he produced at the open ditch in front of the stands sent gasps from those watching.. Ciaran Gethings was never headed although I am not so sure how hard his mount was trying over the last couple.. they won cosily..But Job done.. a winner.

Saint Bibiana ran well in the bumper and finished 5th.. The winner was a half sister to El Presente..It was good to see Jackie Chugg at Huntingdon... Robert her husband and breeder of the winner is currently residing in Worcester Hospital.. Robert would not be a good patient!

I have had more winners at Huntingdon than another racecourse and I always enjoying going there and they do winning well....

Over at Ffos las.. Phantom Getaway was second again.. He ran well in what looked very tiring conditions..This big horse is all about fences, so in the old adage, whatever he does over hurdles is a bonus!

Those Tiger Feet stopped very quickly again and pulled up before the last.. Something amiss..

Friday morning and David Bass was in..

We jumped Captain Rose and Trelawne.

Peter and Fiona Woodhall were here third lot to see their horse Equus Dreamer and their KBRS horses Does He Know and Gerard Mentor.

Graham Potts our vet was in for his Friday visit

Half term starts today for Archie and it is his cricket dinner tonight.. Jonathan Trott is their guest speaker and this is your last chance to bid on an auction prize and don’t forget you can have breakfast here with Nick Cook and your guide!.

Another Barry Cryer joke..

"Picasso was burgled and did a drawing of the robbers. Police arrested a horse and two sardines."
