Plus 9 and raining when driving in.

Yesterdays memorial service for Mike Tucker in Cirencester was huge. Standing room only and a stunningly warm service for an extraordinary man.

From there I trained to London from Kemble for a Grand National dinner with Andrew Bengough, Dermot Daly, Neal Griffiths, Mark Horne, Freddie Schiff, Fionn O'Brien and others at Whites..

A late one, but thankfully Peter Kerr was there to drive home…

David Bass was in this morning..

We jumped El Presente, General Picton, Dueling Banjos and Chateau Robin.. worked a few too.

Taking photos this morning was harder than in February.. so dark first lot...ridiculous

Third lot Nick and Shan Cook, Tim and Linda Caven and Matt Lumb were here to see their KBRP horses Balleticon and Younevercall

Darren Smith also here to see his KBRP horse Vinndication

We have just the one runner today at Market Rasen .. Cloone Lady should have run yesterday at Southwell but that was washed away…, so we try again.. for my thoughts on her chances please click here.

A wife took her husband to a strip club as a birthday treat.

The doorman greeted them, "Hi Jim! How are you?"

"How does he know you?" asked the wife. "Oh dear, I play football with him," said Jim.

Inside, the bartender asked, "Hello Jim! The usual?"

Jim turned to his wife. "Before you say anything, he and I are on the darts team."

Then a stripper walked up to them. "Hi Jim! You craving the Special again?" she giggled.

The wife had enough and stormed out, dragging Jim along and pulling him into a taxi with her.

The cab driver turned around. "Hey Jimmy Boy! You picked up a butt ugly one this time ..."

Jim's funeral is on Saturday.
