I was in and out of the office all day trying to catch glimpses of the game. Jason Roy, what a cracker of the ball.. all in all a great match and now the finals at Lords on Sunday.. Tickets now selling and at least 80 times face value.. I wish I was going!
I just hope all the free to air hopes come true and this game needs to be on BBC.. Cricket needs it to be on BBC. I have nothing against sky .. they do a brilliant job but we need to broaden the horizons of this game and match.
Yesterday we took delivery of a compressor. Siimon Crutchhley of QCR Recycling Equipment installed
We have so much plastic waste and paper waste that we struggle to get rid of it.
In the old days you could burn.. not now. So this compressor will compact and bale large qualities of my waste so that I can fill a skip monthly with bales of waste plastic and paper ..
RSN supplies our bedding chopped straw; this comes in plastic bags while our Dodson and Horrell feed for the horses comes in paper bags..
In racing news Sandy Dudgeon takes over from Roger Weatherby as Jockey Club Senior Steward.. The roles has changed over the years. Sandy is a good man and knows his racing.I hope he will be able to do our sport good.. he has the knowledge and the ability..
Plenty of noise from the local 2000trees Festival drifted up here and down the valley last night on a waff of hemp... David Bass, Nicolai "Nico" de Boinville and Ed Cookson went there last night.. Tonight my Mother in Law Cilla is going with son Eddie... right ravers!
Mrs B and Archie return home later today..With Mrs B away I have just finished another book.. a record.. 3 during the summer..
I highly recommend this book to all males who enjoy a true adventure.. staggering bravery and an extroadinary story. To read the Guadians review of The Spy and the Traitor by Bem Macintyre.
