Plus 10 windy and raining when driving in. 5mm of rain overnight

I have to say that Saint Bibiana hitting a running rail and unseating David Bass in the bumper at Sandown on Saturday rather summed up the way things are going for us here at Thorndale.

The weekend did not improve ..To make matters worse even the boiler at home suddenly sprung a leak and part of the ceiling fell in, soaking my wine boxes and Mrs B washing.  We now have no water and no heating.. thankfully we have nobody staying for this weeks racing!

Did you watch Countryfile last night? There was a really good feature (40 min in) on Jason and Lauren Maguire’s Ivy Lodge Farm.

Horse rehab.. Espoir De Romay was the horse being lunged. I thought it showed the rehab side of racing in good light..

Cheltenham week brings in visitors and today Keith Bratt, John Knock and Terry Crump called in to see their KBRS horse Shantou Express who has just returned from a month of R@R with Jason..

Mark and Rachel Burt was here to see her KBRS horse Isle Of Gold
