The sun shone on our Open Day yesterday..

We have a very different format from other yards as we do not parade the horses.

The yard opened at 11.30 and owners walked round the yard looking at their horses .. Staff on attendance to help and answer questions. Mat, Peter and I were all chatted away and Peter was hard at selling a few shares.. Then it was down to The Frogmill for lunch.. Which seemed to go onto well into the night as many were staying over.. Robert Fox entertained us.

Maddie was chief photographer as Nigel Kirby, who usually does the shooting was at Doncaster as he is their official photographer.. Doncaster raced yesterday after being cancelled on Saturday as a mark of respect to her Majesty.

Mark and Rachel Burt called in second lot..Neil Brooke was here third lot to see his KBRS horse The Telescope out of Jennifer Eccles....John and Paul Benson were also here to see their KBRS horses Phantom Getaway and Parc d'Amour

Amazing scenes from Scotland as The Queens coffin was driven to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.. Wonderful to see the streets and roads lined with so many wanting to pay their last respects.

In Sport. England look like winning the Third Test and the series if pay goes ahead to day.. weather stopped them winning last night.

The US Open was won by 19 year old Carlos Alcaraz.. The new rising star in the sport in.
