Plus 3 and raining at Thorndale.

Picks Lad was a winner at Taunton in controversial circumstances.

Picks Lad passed the post in second place,

But he was so nearly brought down on the home bend by the winner in what rather looked a dangerous piece of riding, and then with the winner drifting in towards PL after the last meant the Stewards looked and reversed the placing..a correct decision.

Worth watching the full race and fast forwarding to just before the last bend..

A great result for S W Racing who are Richard Sheppard and John Webber. A much deserved success and one that has been on the waiting list for a while.

Patience is a virtue in this buisness, if not theirs.. Richard sponsors David Bass through KrimzKramz

Sayadam ran his usual tough honest race to be third, he is probably in the grip of the handicapper at the moment.. such a lovely horse..

The Dulverton’s other runner Idamix ran well in the bumper and showed that bumpers are not for him.. hurdles now and a good future for him.

Faerie Cutlass found handicapping for the first time a huge learning curve, and learn she did.

Up at Aintree Saint Bibiana certainly did not have the soft ground she wanted, but her owners had an enjoyable days racing.

Talk about good racing Aintree certainly had a fabulous day, Shishkin and Constitution Hill did not disappoint.

Good news from the GR....

My biopsy test results are back and I am going home Sunday night/Monday morning..

Last night prices at the Aintree Goffs Sales were predictably strong!

We have no runners today, although under normal conditions we would have been up at Aintree.. the first time I have missed a days racing there for about 20 years.

Gerda and Mike Hayes along with grandchildren, Poppy and Jasper were here this morning to see their KBRS Galante De Romay.

Rob, Katie & Martha Axcell Steel were also here to see their Real Partnership horse Trelawne.

Andrew Bengough sent this one over..

Paddy caught his wife having an affair so he decided to kill her and himself.

He put the gun to his head and said to his wife, 'don’t laugh your next.'
