Plus 14 and raining when driving in. Drizzle it was not yesterday.. It tipped down.

Lords on Saturday was fun.

John Perriss, David Manley and I probably achieved as much as the average racegoer at Cheltenham or Royal Ascot when it came to actually watching the sport...Far too social.

Mistake was bumping in to my favourite Highland shop owner Patrick Birkbeck and his mother Linda.

Anyway the train took the strain both ways and frankly if I had not had a Lords wrist band on when I returned home I am not sure Mrs B would have believed I had actually been to watch cricket..It was still on Sunday morning.. I did manage to remember to cut if off before having lunch with Compton and Woody Hellyer.. they might have thought I had escaped from the local hospital.

Well done to Paul Nicholls for winning the Grand Course at Auteuil yesterday with Pit Zig. Willie Mullins's Un De Sceaux finished down the field having looked good all the way around, but tired on the ground and the extreme trip.. he had a hard race.

Monday morning and the day before Royal Ascot. Sunblazer declared.. Sunblazer loves fast ground…that it will not be..Sunblazer has though run well on rain softened ground there before. We dream..

Norman Carter called in to see his horses Sunblazer and Rhianna

We have one runner tonight at Nottingham .. Yes another flat runner. Willie Twiston Davies and Nam Hai try and win there again to make it back to back wins.. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.

Memorable Password....Always choose a memorable password!

A lady helps her husband install a new computer.

Once it is completed, she tells him to select a password,

Selecting a word that he'll always remember. As the computer asks him to enter it, he looks at his wife And with a macho gesture and a wink in his eye,

He types a word: Mypenis

As he hits "enter", to validate the selection, his wife collapses with laughter and rolls on the floor in hysteria!!

The computer had replied: TOO SHORT-ACCESS DENIED!

Before I go .. A very happy birthday to my sister Amanda (Moo) Mordaunt. 21 today?
