Plus 14 and dry when driving in.

That really was a very enjoyable day. I have not been to Wimbledon for sometime and I could not believe how it has grown.. Yes the last time I went Hawkeye was not invented!

Norman and I arrived early so that we watched the start of play on the outside courts and then met up with his son Alex and his wife Ray (Loraine) for lunch and then took out seats on Number One Court. Good viewing and we watched the Ladies first and then the men. Two good matches one with the roof off and one with the roof on.. that was new to me too.

Wimbledon is so well run.. It was spotless and the staff all smiled and were so helpful.. Racing would learn a great deal from how they run their tournament.

The Ladies English Cricket team beat the Aussies yesterday.. Levelling the series in front of a sell out crowd at Bristol.

Thursday morning brings our easy day .. well for those who worked yesterday.

Nanette Sellars was here mid morning to see her horse Flirtatious Girl and then she went over to Martin Jones to see Undercover Lover who is with Martin in pre training..
