15th February 2022

Plus 6 and raining when arriving at the office this morning.

Kim will be making his way to the airport for his fun family trip to Sri Lanka, luckily after this weekends winners he has gone off a bit happier.

Lucky for me we have a few runners this week so I do actually have something to talk about. Today we run Time For Hollie up at Ayr, hopefully Leah had a good trip up there yesterday, lovely overnight accomodation for staff up at Ayr. David Bass rides that one, I wonder how he made the trip economical....

We also run Imperial Hurricane and Glancing Glory at Lingfield which Ciaran rides, for our thoughts on their chances please click here

Graham Potts our vet was in this morning and this weeks movers and shaker in the BHA handicap charts were Charming Getaway given a mark of 89, Chazza came down 2 to 117, Imperial Aura down 2 to 157, Lady of the Night plus 2 to 120, Lots of Luck up 5 to 107, Percy Veering given a mark of 88, Phantom Getaway given a mark of 120, Those Tiger Feet down 5 to 99.

I will be spending my morning in and out of the office taking photographs each lot, well that depends if i fancy going up the gallop in the rain, otherwise you'll be getting pictures of the horses in their stables.

Sad news from Lambourn this morning.....

Last week I put a post on social media using the hashtag #happyhumpday to which I recieved a message from Mrs Bailey asking what that mean't..... so I thought I would finish each blog this week with a popular daily hashtag from "the gram" - as the kids call it!
