Open days are always important; expensive to run but essential as those who come along really enjoy them.
Even our vets have one and Graham Potts has asked me to promote it.
To celebrate their 25th anniversary and the opening of their MRI unit, TCEH are having an open day on Saturday 19th September from 11.00am until 4.00pm.
Entry is free and light refreshments will be provided.
There are arena demonstrations from Liz Launder (osteopath), The Therapy Centre team from Hartpury College, and Gillian Higgins from "Horses Inside Out".
There will be a series of talks throughout the day from the TCEH vets, Alan Bailey (farrier) and Bryoni Stephenson (Dengie), with the whole practice open to wander around, including the new MRI suite.
A raffle and other competitions will be held with all proceeds going to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and the Riding for the Disabled Association.

Tidying up for our Owners Open day on Sunday continues and like everybody who is holding an outside event the weather forecast is very relevant.. Rain on the way this weekend; today is apparently the last day of our Indian summer..
The upside of an open day is that the yard is spotless, and everywhere is tidied up.. perhaps a yearly spring clean is not a bad idea?
