Excellent supper last night with John and Penny Perriss at The Ox Heart in Long Compton.

David Bass and Ciaran Gethings were in to ride out.

Roy and Louise Swinburne were with us for second Lot.. They were very early on the case this morning as they stayed overnight in their mobile home outside my office..

John Perriss was here to see his horses Bobhopeornohope, Getaweapon, I Spy A Diva, Lady Of The Night, Lots Of Luck, Rockys Treasure and Penny's Wandrin Star.

Rob and Sarah Watson were here third lot with  some friends to see their 4 year old Getaway out of Liane de Pougy

James Coxon was also here to see the 4 year old Getaway out of Liane de Pougy

Garry and Tracy Betley were also here to see their KBRS horse Phantom Getaway.. Cakes? Lots!

We have one runner today at Newton Abbot and one tomorrow at FFos Las.. Balleticon today and Shantou Express tomorrow and for my thoughts please click here.

An Englishman and an Irishman go to a bakery.

The Englishman steals three buns and puts them into his pockets.

He says to the Irishman: “That took great skill and guile to steal those buns.   The owner didn’t even see me.”

“That’s just simple thievery,” the Irishman replied. “I’ll show you how to do it the honest way and get the same results.”

The Irishman then proceeded to call out the owner of the bakery and says: “Sir, I want to show you a magic trick.”

The owner was intrigued so he came over to see the magic trick.

The Irishman asked him for a bun and then he proceeded to eat it.

He asked two more times and after eating them again the owner says: “Okay my friend, where’s the magic trick?”

The Irishman then said: “Look in the Englishman’s pockets.”
