17th November 2018

Plus 7 and damp when driving in.

It was foggy which wasn't be good news for those coming to the yard this morning.

You had to be pleased with Station Master's run at Cheltenham yesterday. I hate being second and at Cheltenham too is pretty gaulling, but having said all that he ran a blinder to finish second to a good horse in The Young Master who has come down in the weights and looks to be back on track again..

After racing I attended the Tattersalls Sales and although most were point to pointers there were a couple of decent bumper horses. The top price was £190,000.00 for a horse who had been beaten in a point.. second..

I bought lot 42, a stunning grey 3 year old gelding who had bolted up in his only bumper called Adjourned.. A horse ready to go and big enough to jump fences after a hurdling career and at £110K to me was far better value..He is for sale...Ring Peter Kerr on 07901763643.. or me..

David Bass was in this mornng before heading to Uttoxeter. We jumped First Flow and Charbel.

This morning visitors from CD Tours were Colin McLeod and Robbie McGarry, Airdrie plus Sue, Frank, Matt and Lauren Walden
