Plus 9 and dry when driving in.

I was immensely proud of our big baby Trelawne. If only he had got a flyer at the last!!. It was still a mighty run to finish 3rd..

Brendas Asking also produced a mighty run to finish 5th and Shantou Express certainly did not disgrace although he finished a tired horse in the end.. Too soft for him and not soft enough for Trelawne.

All in all our Cheltenham runners ran well.

At Bangor poor Lady Of The Night had a tired fall and will now be retired and rehomed.. Her breathing is just not clear enough

At Doncaster I am not sure why Mikhailovich ran like he did.. He might have missed the break but he was never really travelling.. Bizarrely the last time he went left handed he ran badly too..

Good to see Stuart and Debbie Rolt racing yesterday at Cheltenham..More into their motor racing than horse racing..

Also good to se Martin F-G who said he was on an office Christmas day out! More like a day out while the CP was held in Malborough!!  Martin and Kate will be seeing Harry Bailey over the Christmas period as they are off to Aus next week..

No joy at the sales last night ..tried and failed.. Tough..

Saturday morning and we were visited by Danny Cooper second Lot.. I have never met Danny before, but have certainly talked to him regularly on the phone. Danny lives in France and recommended and bought Heros De Romay, Jeudidee and Shady Wadey for me..

John and Mandy Battershall were here third lot to see their KBRS horse General Hubble.

We have two runners today.. Mr Grey Sky heads to Hereford while Destroytheevidence heads to Cheltenham and for my thoughts please click here.

This evening we are having our staff Christmas Party.....Party games a plenty?

Thankfully no runners tomorrow!!

Mick walks into a bar in Dublin, orders three pints of Guinness, and sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more.

The bartender asks, "You know, a pint goes flat after I draw it. Wouldn't you rather I draw fresh pints for you one at a time?"

Mick replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in America, the other in Australia. We made a pact to each drink this way to remember the days when we all drank together."

The bartender nods and serves Mick his three pints. This goes on for a couple of months until one day, Mick orders only two pints. Concerned, the bartender says, "I'm sorry for your loss. Did one of your brothers pass away?"

Mick looks confused for a moment and then laughs, "Oh, no, my brothers are fine! I just quit drinking!"

Have a great weekend and see you on Monday..
