Talking people who have recently left us.. Peter Deal passed away on Monday.. A great man who just loved his racing.. and his cricket.. Long time MCC member..I played so many games with him.... Peter was such a great man to be around.. always interested and always good fun.
Peter's racing days were spent mostly with Martin Pipe and Henry Candy.. Probably his most memorable horse was Champion hurdler Make A Stand. Peter married Pam and the two were inseparable and recently spending most of their winters in South Africa.. .. Deepest thoughts to Pam and Michelle..
There is further sad news as Richard 'Sparky' Bevis who is a great friend of Mat's is in hospital in an induced coma after an accident on his farm. His son William has set up a Crowd funding page..
