Plus 5 and dry when driving in.

David Bass was in this morning.. With so many horses turned out there are not many to ride out!.

Having said that we have three runners today at three meetings.

Mat has the glamorous job of heading to York to saddle Ajero. Leigh and Peter to Newton Abbot to saddle Galante De Romay while I have drawn the short straw as far as racecourse is concerned.. Worcester.. where I will saddle Destroytheevidence…. There is a good reason why.. I have been told not to spend too much time in a car.. Anyway for my thoughts on our runners please click here.

Tom Fillery has just about finished steam cleaning and disinfecting the top barn walls, warts and roof!!

Talking walls.. We are also rebuilding the wall that collapsed in the snow and frost over the winter.. Annoyingly and very expensively the wall, by our staff car park, fell down in two places.. The worry is that another frost and snow fall next winter could well bring other parts of the wall down.. This Cotswold stone wall might look pretty, but it has no base and is long and narrow.. and it has been there for a few years..

A man was robbing a house in the middle of the night.

All of a sudden, he heard a parrot cry out. "Jesus is gonna get you."

The robber ignored it, and takes the TV.

Again, the parrot cries out. "Jesus is gonna get you."

The robber started to get a little worried. "What's your name, birdie?"

"Moses."

"What dumbass named you Moses?"

"The same dumbass who called his rottweiler Jesus."
