Alan James was also here to see his KBRS horses Voyburg, Chazza, Shinobi, Does He Know, Parc d’Amour, Tantoli, Fair Frontiers and Magical Escape.

Joe Goldring was also here for a first visit to Thorndale.

Graham Potts was in for his Tuesday visit and there were no movers or shakers in this weeks BHA handicap charts..

We lost the Lords Second Test. We were beaten by India, well beaten by Virat Kholi.. That man won the game by sheer inspirational team leadership. Our bowlers failed before our batting.. India deserved to win. Kholi and the Indian crowd took Lord's by storm!

If the plural of man is always called men,

Why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?

If I speak of my foot and show you my feet.

And I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?

If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth, Why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?
