Plus1 and drizzling when driving in.
Ah Leicester.. The delights of.. Nearly none as I was red lettered by the BHA for filling in my Covid form incorrectly.. no.. I had not been in a foreign country in the last 14 days..
Every day we go racing, and I go most days, I have to fill in the BHA Covid questionnaire, and although I know all the answers by heart, on this occasion I pushed the wrong button on my phone while flippantly answers the questions.
My forced delay meant that I arrived in the course having finally moved through security as Chazza was jumping the third hurdle.. Chazza ran well and finished second.. Yes I know.. but..Actually having not had a very good day it rather sorted my mood.. Which was not helped by Station Master running no sort of a race..
The drive back through Leicester was no different than before lockdown.. Slow and heaving with traffic..
I arrived home just in time to watch Blazon run so much better, but not quiet well enough.. he was 5th beaten about 2 lengths.. Blazon is so much happier on the all weather and his jockey Jim Crowley said he will be winning soon... what a great man.. Jim does such great post race interviews for owners.. Top man and you can see he was a jumps jockey before becoming the star flat jockey that he is now....
New Kim make 1.4 million at the sales.. sadly she is not coming my way..
Tuesday morning.
David Bass in for one lot.. We jumped Mr Grey Sky.
I left after first lot with Vinndication and Newtide to Newbury for a schooling morning.. 5/6 fences and a gallop..

We have two runners today at Fakenham.. Happygolucky and True Glory run there and for my thoughts please click here.
Keep smiling..
My wife got 8 out 10 on her driver's test. The other two lucky guys managed to jump out of her way.
There may be no acceptable excuse for laziness, but I'm still alive and looking.
Women spend a lot more time wondering what men are thinking, than men spend thinking.
Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
He who laughs last thinks slowest.
