Plus 12.. yes plus 12 when driving in at 5.30.. Summer here?

It might be warm but it was very wet yesterday.

Today.. David Bass was in for a couple of lots while Henry Kimbell was here first/second lot. Henry runs the GSTTKPA charity Partnership and has a share in Same Ole Trix.

We jumped a few this morning…Crazy Jack, Texas Forever, Mr Beatle, Charbel and Nam Hai. A video this morning's horses working can be seen here and the schooling video here.

Maurice and Pim Greenaway called in late morning to see their horse Fizzy Dancer..

We have 3 runners today at Ludlow..All three would prefer better ground but where will we find it?

Anyway Monkhouse who won a bumper last at Bangor (fast ground) makes his hurdle debut in the first. Pulling Power also makes her hurdling debut later while Gallery Exhibition won last at Kempton runs in the Tanners Champagne Handicap Chase a £25,000.00 race.. For my thoughts on their respective chances please click here..

I will be placing an order with Tanners for some wine in appreciation for all their wonderful sponsorship at Ludlow.. Ludlow has manages to race for £100,000.00 today while the Group One racecourse Newbury only manages £55,000.00 … It shows it can be done and Ludlow deserves all the accolades it receives and all the support we give it.. Well done the Ludlow Team..

Sadly I will not be at Ludlow today, nor will Mat Nichols my assistant as his wife Evelyn fell off her horse Regal Approach yesterday and has spent the night in hospital. Poor Evelyn is waiting on a general to clean up a nasty cut under her knee.

Peter Kerr will represent me at Ludlow.

I am heading to Newbury where David Martin sponsors the Graduation Chase. David and Julie, who own last season's Cheltenham Festival winner Darna, amongst others here, are celebrating David's retirement so they are hosting a retirement lunch; I have been asked to talk through the card and other things…?

Oliver Loughlin's New Tax Code.

The only thing that the parliment has not yet taxed is the male penis!

This is due to the fact that 69% of the time it is hanging around unemployed.

10% of the time it is hard up.

20% of the time it is pissed off. 1% of the time it is in a hole.

On top of that it has two dependants and they are both nuts.

However, from January 1st 2016 the penis will be taxed according to size.

The brackets are as follows:

10 - 12 inch luxury tax £300, 8 - 10 pole tax £250, 5 - 8 previlage tax £150, 3 - 5 inch £30, males exceeding 5 inches must file for capital gains, anyone under 3 inches is eligible for a tax refund.

Please do not ask for an EXTENSION.

Watch this small piece of footage .. more coming after Christmas..
