Plus 13 and dry when driving in. It looks like being the hottest weekend of the year.

I was surprised to see Mat back here for evening stables last night. His visit to see John Perriss’s horses is usually one that takes slightly more than the odd hour but yesterday he was back early....Mat reported that their horses looked well and all were happy..

I am not sure my Essex relations would have been very happy last night. A titanic game of cricket against Nottinghamshire ended with Notts chasing down a record 371 to get through to the finals of the Royal London One Day Cup…

It was  a fabulous game to watch and even the umpires looked to have enjoyed themselves.. Well at least one was using his fingers and arms more often than usual.. Yes you know who I mean.. Nick Cook who has a share in one of our KBRP horses Younevercall was one of those two umpires.. .Nick loves his cricket and yesterdays match must have been a joy to watch and umpire.  Oh and Happy Birthday Nick.. Enjoy your weekend..

David Bass was in this morning for two lots. We worked Such A Legend, Policy Breach, Forgotten Hero and Sunblazer.

Deri Williams was here to see his KBRP horse Monrocco out in the field.

Karen Masters was also here to see her KBRP horses Kayf Storm, Knockanrawley and Our Belle Amie.

Steve Jaggard and Rachel Wilson were here late morning to see the horses . Great to see Rachel.. we miss her husband Richard..

Big day of Rugby with the Maori All Blacks taking on the British and Irish Lions this morning.

Staying away this weekend.. Hotel break..Just be careful when paying the bill.. it might shock you but this chap had a way of dealing with it.. Click here to see.. You will enjoy
