Yesterday’s Mens Final was about the best I have ever watched.. 5 hours of tension and a great result for tennis with a 20 year old new star Carlos Alcaraz.. Frankly watching the first set I thought it would be all over with the hour!.. Stage fright or in awe of his opponent..A new generation of star players.. Carlos is only 20.

But at 17 and three years younger the Boy Finals was won by a Brit in Henry Searle.. The first time for 61 odd years.

It was a great two weeks of sport and now this week (starting on Wednesday) we have the fourth Ashes Test to look forward to at Old Trafford...... Who will England pick?
