Plus 10 and dry when driving in.

We had a wind of note yesterday but certainly no gales. A fine dust on our cars from the Sahara was the most notable extra from yesterdays weather.

This morning we worked Dueling Banjos and Little Chunk. Tom Bellamy was in to ride out.

This weeks movers and shakers in the BHA handicap charts are..Billy Elliott down 4 to 96, By The Boardwalk down 1 to 122, Derrintogher Bliss down 4 to 118 while Mon Palois has not been allotted a mark after two wins.

Worcester races again.. rather Hereford who should have raced today have moved their meeting to Worcester due to their fast ground.. The most interesting fact about todays racing is that Andrew Thornton returns to the saddle..

Yesterday afternoon was spent in Malvern, not looking at their cars but schools.. Not sure I would fit into the former.. or the latter for that matter

Jake was dying. His wife sat at the bedside.

He looked up and said weakly: 'I have something I must confess.'

'There's no need to, 'his wife replied.

'No,' he insisted, 'I want to die in peace'.
