Plus 5 and dry when driving in.

Dry and very warm at Uttoxeter yesterday.. Barmy autumn weather.

Station Master ran a cracker to finish second.. yes annoying but it was a good run and one that showed that he will benefit from a longer trip. It was also a good ride from David Bass.

All in all we had a good days racing.. Owner and trainer happy.

We have three runners today. Gallery Exhibition and Rockys Treasure at Fakenham and Abbreviate at Wincanton and for my thoughts on their chances please click here.

I am away today having a meeting with my Accountant Ian Hewitt.

Half term starts for Archie.. Rugby accident a couple of days ago landed him in Worcester General with a rotary cuff tear in his right shoulder.. Mother not amused!!

ATTORNEY: Doctor, how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people?
WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight.

ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school did you go to?
WITNESS: Oral...

ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body?
WITNESS: The autopsy started around 8:30 PM
ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time?
WITNESS: If not, he was by the time I finished.

PS.. Down Royal will carry on racing .. Don't panic folks it is all ok..I have that on the highest authority.
