Plus 12 and dry when waking in Doncaster..Welcome rain overnight

Balleticon last night did not get the extra trip and now probably deserves to have an honourable retirement..He might not have been a star, but he has given his owners some fun days out.. there is, as they say, a life after racing.

Tough day at Goffs and another record sales day..

I came  away with 2 new horses. Lot 382 Grave La Klass and Lot 461 Picks Lad. As can image both horses are for sale, although the grey might be gone?

Sale prices were strong and one has to wonder how long they can continue, but we have been saying that for some years now.

We have a couple of runners today. Admirals Bay heads to Market Rasen and Ajero goes flat racing at Sandown. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.

I hate selling my horses and with three going through the ring today at Goffs I just hope all three will find good new homes who will treasure them as much as we have...
