Plus 8 and dry when driving in.
Not a good day yesterday weather wise, or horse wise.. Chazza was never at the races.. something has to be amiss with him.
Shantou Express ran well but once he was not going to be placed David eased him home.. I know he has form on soft ground he is a better horse on less soft.. A break now for the spring and possibly Kelso's Premier Novices' Hurdle in March.
We took both our intended runners out at Uttoxeter.. and watching I was thankful we did.

Paul and Suzanne Higgs were here to see their KBRS horses Drumreagh, Voyburg, Chazza and their youngster by Sir Percy.
Aidan Porter was also here to see the Sir Percy Gelding
Graham (Griff) Griffiths was here to see his KBRS Tantoli.
John Perriss was here to see his recently arrived youngster.. The Telescope out of Mollys A Diva.

We only have two runners this weekend. Younevercall runs today at Ascot and tomorrow Miss Gemstone heads to Fakenham.. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.
Cop on horse says to little girl on bike, "Did Santa get you that?"
"Yes," replies the little girl.
"Well tell him to put a reflector light on it next year!" and fines her $5.
The little girl looks up at the cop and says, "Nice horse you've got there, did Santa bring you that?"
The cop chuckles and replies, "He sure did!"
"Well," says the little girl, "Next year tell Santa that the dick goes under the horse, not on top of it!"
