I have to say the flak that Nicky Henderson is getting for not running Constitution Hill against Honeysuckle at Punchestown is just outrageous. .
It was probably a stupid idea in the first place and only came about in a brief conversation with his owner Michael Buckley who mentioned it would be fun to see them take each other on…. Then the PR machines went into overdrive.. They will have to wait for Cheltenham next march when hopefully both will arrive there in the finest of health.
We have a vet in this morning and this weeks movers and shakers in the BHA charts were..Balleticon down 2 to 100, Peaked Too Soon down 5 to 117 and The Bull McCabe up 4 to 129.
The delights of Worcester start again tonight.. Can’t wait.. They have already overcome one problem.. the water pump broke so they were unable to water.. Working now and the forecasted ground is good.
