Plus 14 and dry when driving in

Very heavy rain last night, very welcome.. it certainly was not at Edgbaston yesterday especially after was a wonderfully interesting day of cricket on Saturday. Today is going to be a cracker..It is anybody's game although the odds are probably more on an Aussie win after last nights rain interrupted play.

Reminiscing and talking through life’s little turns over lunch and a bottle of wine or two was a tremendous way to spend Saturday afternoon in London.

London was heaving and very hot, but by the time Max Whitby and I had meandered through the last 48 years we really did not notice anybody around us!! Where did the time go?

Lasse and Anne Dalgaard called in to see their KBRS Sprucefrontiers yesterday morning.

They spent Saturday visiting their two new broodmares Starvoski (Jack Hobbs) and Galante de Romay (Frontiersman) Both will be heading to new pastures in Denmark next month.

Sad to read that Paul Barber has died.. Paul was a huge farmer in the West Country and his racing empire of champions was well all well known.... Always approachable Paul.. he was a great man to talk to.

7 horses need to come out above Ajero for him to run at Royal Ascot on Friday..
