Cricket yesterday was not as bad as it could be for England who were rather put to the sword by South Africa.. the same can be said for Archie’s team as they were well beaten by the Sri Lankan under 19 team… The experience of being a Young Lion was not lost on Archie and his determination is even greater..He was clocked at 82mph..

On the way home Clare and I were tested by Archie on road signs.. He takes his theory test today.. Neither Clare or I would have passed judging by how many signs were had not see before!!

Paddy is sitting in a bar in Dublin looking very depressed.

"What's the matter Paddy?" asks the barman.

"It's my friend Mick" says Paddy. "He was having terrible luck with the ladies on account of having a face like an elephant's bum and borrowed 10,000 euros off me for cosmetic surgery. I haven't seen him or my money since,"

"That's awful" says the barman. "Why don't you find him and shake the money out of him?"

"Because I don't know what the thieving b*****d looks like now!" sobs Paddy
