Today would have been Towcester’s Christmas meeting.. Oh it is such a shame that racecourse seems to have left us..
We have no runners again today but we will do tomorrow at Ascot.
Christmas shopping yesterday.. Cerainly not top of my list of things to do but..
I love this one..
Clare, Archie and I had been out shopping in Cheltenham most of the afternoon.
Suddenly, Clare realised that I had "disappeared".
The somewhat irate Clare called my mobile phone and demanded: "Where the hell are you?"
I said: "Darling, you remember that jewellery shop where you saw the diamond necklace and totally fell in love with it and I didn't have money that time and said, 'Darling, it'll be yours one day'?"
Clare, with a smile, blushing: "Yes I remember that, my love."
I replied, "Well, I'm in the bar next door to that shop."
Have a great day too...Pictures on the right.. We turn a great many horses out every day and here are some photos I took yesterday afternoon.
To finish.. We all know that Matt Chapman has a deadly sense of humour.. Well this week he sent me this video clip..
