Plus 6 and dry when driving in. 8mm of rain here yesterday...

It was extremely wet at Fakenham yesterday and frankly it was far too soft for Lady Gwen.. Having said that she still ran an absolute blinder to finish second, especially as she was giving lumps of weight to the winner.

Lady Gwen will now have a break and return to racing in the spring. That was her 8th race since she joined us in July and her form figures read 3 wins, 2 2nds, 1 3rd and a fourth.

Excellent night of Cricket by England to level the series in The West Indies..

Frankie failed to win another outside racing event!! No SPOTY for him.. Stuart Broad second.......Mary Earps was the winner..

David Bass and Ciaran Gethings were in to ride out..

We have two runners today. I am heading to Ludlow to saddle to saddle Bobhopeornohope while Mat heads to Newbury to saddle Mr Grey Sky.. For my thoughts please click here.

Richard Farquhar rang yesterday afternoon to tell me not to worry about spelling, beacuse in the New Year there will be autocorrect on The Racing Manager and for that I will be eternally grapefruit.
