Modern technology when it goes wrong is a pain. Yesterday we had no internet.. ‘Gigaclear outrage’… It certainly lived up to its title..

I stopped Sandie coming in as no point in doing accounts on line if there was no online facility, and that was just the start of it..a very frustrating day.

Back on now thankfully..

Sunblazer 3rd last night at Kempton.. Empty racecourse and not a great result.. Our booked jockey James Doyle taken ill early evening so Joshua Bryan replaced but he came far too wide into the home straight.. Such is life in flat racing as one mistake is all it takes.. There will be other days..

Gallery Exhibition left the yard to go point to pointing yesterday, while Paul and Clare Rooney sent me another well bred filly,  a 3 year old by Flemensfirth out of Dorabelle.

This morning Another Venture and Abbreviate had an away day.

Alan and Sally James  were here third lot to see their KBRP horses Peeping Tom, Lord Apparelli  and Royal Supremo.. they also brought along some friends..Sharon and Bob Atkins.

No vet today..This weeks movers and shakers in the BHA handicap charts were…Agent Memphis dow 1 to 99, By The Boardwalk up 3 to 113, Cloone Lady down 5 to 108, Vinndication matches his hurdle mark over fences to 149 while Younevercall goes up a whopping 12lbs to 157.. and if you don't put Mikey Hamill on and his 3lb allowance then it is 15lbs!!

We have 4 runners today at Southwell where I hope the ground is as good as they forecast.. they are usually very good.
