Plus 8 and grey when waking in Doncaster..

Interesting trade at Goffs Sales yesterday.

Aiden Murphy (bloodstock agent) and I tried, but just failed to buy the top lot of the day.. Lot 67 A stunning Kayf Tara 3 year old gelding.. Mags O’Toole won the day for Gordon Elliott..Annoying but..

At least we came home with two attractive youngsters who we were pleased to be able to buy. Lot 10 a full brother to Prince Llewellyn and Lot 27 a half brother to Those Tiger Feet by the very hot sire Jeremy..

It was a frustrating day as it was not easy to find the right horse, but then there are several more sales to come..

My trek down to Huntingdon was not a huge success although Chateau Robin ran well enough to finish 3rd; Doctor Haze needs to see one..

Back for more today, although a different type of sale as all yesterdays horses were youngsters, mostly 3 years old and unbroken.. the dream horses ..while today it is all about horses who have raced .. point to pointers or horses in training..

We have three runners at Warwick this afternoon where Mat will be going.. Commodore Barry, Rocky’s Treasure and Dandy Dan .. We also run one at Southwell tonight where I hope to be there to saddle Net Work Rouge.. For my thoughts on all their chances please click here.
