Plus 8 and dry when driving in. Another start to the day with clear blues skies.
Arriving in the Ascot trainers car park yesterday we parked up beside Sam Hoskins Hot To Trot tent.. Miranda Ker was quick for welcome us.. no time for drinks as we were going to be late for lunch..
Clare and I had a lovely day at Royal Ascot with the Clancy family. Great company and great viewing from their Box. Two For Gold was much discussed.. ARC were in the next door box.. Much discussed there too.. also in there were Richard Pugh and Roger Casey of Tattersalls.
Fantastic racing and the day belonged to Frankie and his 4 winners.. there was a moment when it looked like 5.. but.. He certainly entertains and the racing public love it. The Gold Cup winner Stradivarius, was supreme and it was a great race to watch.
It has been a long week there and we head there again tomorrow as..
Younevercall gets in tomorrow, so runs at Ascot.
All week we have been worried that YNC would be balloted out as he was number one to do so.
George Baker, the ex jockey and agent to our booked jockey James Doyle was hopeful and as it turned out he was right as only 13 horses were declared, so we more than just scraped in.
Talking runners we actually have one today at Market Rasen. Masteen run there and for my thoughts on his chances please click here. David Bass rides in the absense of Ben Love who rode him last time.. Ben is on holiday.

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20.. Now add another 1000. Now add 100.. What is the total?
Good to see Andy Murray back in the winners enclosure at Queens..
