Plus 15 and dry when driving in.
Annoyingly Jeudidee’s blood was not a 100% so he was non runner at Worcester yesterday..He will be fine in a week..
Better news.. Ajero scaped in at Royal Ascot and runs there tomorrow..
Martyn and Sandra Steer Fowler took Clare and I out for a celebratory supper at The Old Butchers…. It was meant to have happened soon after Sandra’s horse Trelawne won at Uttoxeter..That celebration was put on hold as I disappeared into Hospital!.. That behind us... last night was a very happy occasion and one we all enjoyed.
What was my conditional jockey Kai Lenihan’s RCA badge doing hanging on a bush at Membury Service station?.
It was spotted by Philip Crabb who traced Kai through his twitter account to here..
Last night Phil dropped it off on his way back to his home in Cheltenham.. Kind.. Honest.. Helpful.. a good call..Something not often found in this modern world.. Anyway I offered him a breakfast and morning on the gallops with his mates whenever he felt like calling up.
John Cootes sent these over..The old one’s are the best:
