A wet day ahead and the likelihood of no Ashes Test Cricket at Old Trafford.. sad, especially after yesterdays brilliant day.. It really has been some series and it would be so sad to see it end on a damp note.. Hopefully there might be a chance of play on tomorrow.. and a result??

The Open will be wet too..They finish tomorrow whatever the weather throws at it.

No fish caught on the Wye.. expected I suppose, hence I bought some on the way there!!.. Just good to be back in the water with a rod in my hand.. nearly a year since it was last erected!

We have two runners tomorrow at Stratford..Lady Gwen and Jeudidee head there and for my thoughts please click here.

The supermarket verses the corner shop.. Not there yet but heading that way.. Probably already there in Ireland.

As an aeroplane is about to crash, a female passenger jumps up frantically and announces, "If I'm going to die,I want to die feeling like awoman."

She removes all her clothing and asks, "Is there someoneon this plane, who is man enough to make me feel like a woman?"

An Irishman stands up, removes his shirt and says,"Here, feckin iron this!".

Have a great weekend and see you on Monday..
