Plus 11 and dry when driving in.
Thursday.. Our easy day….really?
Doctor Nicholls.. Yes all First Aid exams passed although I am not sure I will be placing a scalpel in Mats hands.. I am sure he is now very adept with a bandage… and advice.
I started taking photos of horses last night to update the horses in training section of my website.
It is a job Leigh Pollard, my travelling head girl, probably hates as it takes time and you have to wait on the clouds moving away to let the sun shine..
No jockeys in today.
I visited Martin Jones mid morning to catch up with the horses that are still there..
Top man Martin who breaks our horses in so well.. he gives them time, which is something many can’t nowadays.. Yes it is all about team work.
I am sure you probably noticed that I got ahead of myself yesterday. The 3rd Ashes Test starts today at Headingley.. I rectified my blog yesterday..
The weather looks good and all eyes will be on Jefra Archer.. he will empty the bars for his first spell.
The racing at York was excellent yesterday. And today it is all about Enable..
If you have never ventured to York races and enjoy your racing then it is a course that you should visit before you die..Not sure that is a good analogy after Mat's week..
When Roy Hudd later became the undertaker Archie Shuttleworth on Coronation Street, it brought many invitations to dine with funeral directors.
He would often decline, but couldn’t resist when one undertaker signed the request with “Eventually yours”.
