Plus 13 and dry when driving in.

Monday morning and the start of a new week, but we ended the last one watching Essex, my old home county, win the T20 Blast finals .. on the last ball.

What an extraordinary summer of cricket we have had.. last balls and last overs all summer.. Cricket really has been at its best ..

The Rugby World Cup saw England and Ireland win.

Yesterday was mostly spent in Gloucester Hospital with Clare who had a fall off her horse on a local fun ride at Notgrove.. She was kept in overnight.

12 months ago was the proudest day of my life when my daughter Pandora married James Lovett. How 12 months have flown.

Yes Monday morning and fresh horses.

20 odd members of the Jockey Club South West Syndicate were here for a visit to see their horse Hes No Trouble perform up the gallops.. Tea, coffee and a chat about the coming season after..

Talking chats Freya Trotter and Richard Farquahar were here late morning to discuss the latest’s developments and news on The Racing Manager.

I am a big fan of The Racing Manager.. It is a great way of communication, especially with partnerships.. all our KBRP’s are on the RM.

Inca Rose and Miss Gemstone returned to Thorndale..

This made me laugh as sadly it is so true..

Hello Kim

I came across a clip when clearing out a desk drawer and immediately thought of you.

I have read your blog for many years now and, no doubt like thousands of other people, I have both marvelled at and winced at your grammar and punctuaton, sometimes almost daily.

You may wish to stick this on your blog but of course that's up to you.

Those who oppose the idea that correct punctuation matters should consider these two paragraphs:

"Dear John, I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we're apart. I can be forever happy. Will you let me be yours? Anne"

For other men, I yearn. For you, I have no feelings whatsoever. When we're apart, I can be forever happy. Will you let me be? Yours, Anne"

And no it was not from TNDGB but Robert Jacques..

Robert.. dont worry I certainly saw the funny side..
