Plus 10 and raining when driving in.
Yes raining and it rained hard last night (9mm) so much so all the lanes around here were yellow with leaves that had fallen off their trees.
Jockeys David Bass and Richie McLernon were in for a couple of lots this morning. We worked a few and jumped Ascotdeux Nellerie, Sunblazer and Fizzy Dancer over hurdles.. A video of the horses working can be seen here and schooling here..
Helen Hibbert was down third lot to see her two horses Milord and Boolavard King. Helen who took over her late brother David's share in Milord added BK to her bow last year. Both horses are part of Peter Kerr’s run KBRP’s

If you are looking for something to do as a family day out this Sunday then why not pop over to Thorndale/Foxcote where Mark and Rosie Vestey are hosting the famous Cotswold Team Chase.
Team chasing is all about 4 very brave and possibly mad people galloping flat out over all sorts of different types of fences for a small prize.. Sounds crazy but for those who love it is almost a adrenalin rush to be able to do this.
It is a great spectacle and always a good watch. A chance to walk the course around this stunning estate and there are the usual trade stands, bar and food outlets to make sure you have fun.. It all starts at 9.30 and finishes at about 3.30.. Try and come along, it will certainly be a different day out.

Mentioning Worcester..It is their last days racing until May of next year.
I am going to be brave and attend; not only that but I am hoping to be able to have a table in their restaurant.
Worcester has benefited for the last two season from an excellent clerk of the course in Keith Ottesen who has transformed the racing side of the racecourse, but I am certainly not too sure about their catering judging by past owners comments. We shall see….
Mat Lambert who was there a couple of meetings ago with a runner text this morning having read the above to suggest that I take my own plate!
On radio 2 yesterday they were talking about the Steve Jobs film ; the life of the Apple founder. At the after premiere party earlier this week...
The reception was extremely poor with one small bar in the corner, it didn't last as long as expected and it was difficult to hear what people were saying ....
