Plus 7 when driving in. The winter weather is certainly here and the heating is on in the office!

I did manage to get out of the warm office yesterday to try and get some pictures for todays blog! Tried and failed being the result, as they were really not very good and Kim has rightly taken his lovely camera with him to oz. I shall try better today and thank Peter Kerr for providing todays gallery.

The movers and shakers in this weeks handicap charts are Station Master down 2 to 133 and Minella Warrior has been given a mark of 138 over fences.

Cresswell Legend and Shinobi head to Exeter today and for our thoughts on their chances click here

We took Vinndication, First Flow, Pond Road and Another Venture to Lambourn for a gallop and schooling session.

Ian and Ron Brotherton were here to see their KBRP horse Subway Surf before Ron heads off to Exeter to watch his other KBRP horse Shinobi make his racecourse debut.

The racing news was filled with tributes being paid to the talented Wicklow Brave yesterday. I came across this lovely piece written by Tania Kindersley circulating on facebook.

On a lighter note, I missed putting a joke on yesterdays blog but found this video from my favourite comedian Michael McIntyre and thought it was appropriate - Flight Etiquette - I wonder if Kim followed these rules.........

To finish, Happy Birthday to team member Sean Clarke who joined KBR this season and Major Philip Arkwright who also celebrates his birthday today.
