A few days of dry weather and colder air has made the ground here terrible when walking on it.. slippery stuff now that rain has arrived.

All day in London yesterday and my mobile battery did not last out.. annoying..

Richie McLernon and Tom Bellamy both rode out two lots this morning.

ARC have announced that they are going to start racing again at Hereford..Yes it is great news..Hereford Racecourse is to reopen on October 6. There has been point to pointing and Arab racing held on the course since it closed 4 years ago..so at least it has been used.

Louis Gill of The Cotswold Film Company approached me last summer and asked if they could produce a video of the yard. I was of course delighted to help, but in what direction?

Louis and I came up with the idea of a behind the scenes approach to what goes on in racing and here is the result. Racing Stories.. Life At The Yard..So please click here to watch..

I hope you enjoy and any feed back will be hugely appreciated.. Please email me thoughts

A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.

The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small.

The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale.

Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible.

The little girl said, 'When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah'.

The teacher asked, 'What if Jonah went to hell?'

The little girl replied, 'Then you ask him'.
