Thursday is our easy day..

It was an early start for Mat who was seen powering down the M5 towards Chepstow to walk their hurdle track…

We hope to have a couple of runners there on Saturday and with the declaration time of 10am this morning it would be helpful for owners to know if their horses run or not.... especially having taken one of them out at Exeter last week when all ER's owners were there.. yes you guessed it …Exeter was faster than we wanted.

We hosted a charity morning on the gallops followed by breakfast. Michael and Teressa Ryan, Neil and Ann Lansom. John Webber’s nominated charity benefitted from a prize I offered at his Colliers Warwick racecourse lunch last September.

BHA's new whip referral committee announced that 19 jockeys had breached the new whip rules and therefore received bans....

This was the first sitting of the panel after the first operational week of the new rules. On that note please do not read what Richie Forristal thinks on the subject.

The next round of Çheltenham Tattersalls sales take place at the racecourse later today. Another catalogue mostly of Irish point to pointers. Let me know if you would like to add to your string?
