3rd October 2016

Plus 16 and dry here in France.

Aiden O'Brien is a complete genius . First 3 in the Arc is no mean feat!

We tried to watch the race on French TV without success but thanks to ATR we managed.

Clare and I have had a fun weekend. Archie very happy to see us.

Good food, plenty to see and no runners to miss over the weekend although we will not be back in the UK until later today which means I will not be at Southwell where we have two runners.

Gaelic Myth and Monkhouse run there and David Bass rides both. For my thoughts on their respective chances please click here.

Tony Solomons who had a very successful trip to Paris over the weekend, where his horse Nearly Caught finished 3rd on Saturday will be hoping Gaelic Myth wins.. if he were to then GM's prize money would just about cover Tony's two day trip and flights.
