The well named Percy Veering did it again at Ffos Las yesterday. That was his second win this month.. following up on his Warwick win two weeks ago. PV's win made it our 20th winner for the season..

This time PV was ridden by Kielan Woods..

Kielan was the only man 'brave' enough to ride him at Lingfield first time out over fences last season. They fell....Kielan blamed low sun...was it not raining that day??

Ciaran Gethings rode PV at Warwick when he won and was sorry not to ride him again yesterday, but he was committed to ride one for his ‘riding boss’ Stuart Edmonds (which also won), hence why Keilan came back in for the ride..

Anyway, well done all and many thanks to 'The Percy Vera’s' for remaining so loyal to their horse.. Yes I am very patient with horses as are Virginia Johnson, Paul Martin, Phil Case and Sarah Munro-Ashman..

Grand Escaparde ran better yesterday at Warwick than last time and is learning on the job.

Thursday morning and we have just the one runner at Market Rasen.. Lady Gwen heads there and for my thoughts please click here.

Running LG so quickly after her win at Taunton was not something I was planning. But she picks up no penalty for her win as it was a conditional jockeys race and she goes up 5lbs on Friday. So she is theoretically 5lbs well in..

We were planning on giving her a break, but as she looks so well and seems the same.. she can have her mid season break after this..

The Racing Post must be short of things to write about.. Pub names and horses..

Mrs B is having a girls trip away and heading off to Vienna for the weekend to see the Spanish Riding School and the Lipizzaner horses perform..

Marriage is just a nice word for adopting a fully grown man who cannot take care of himself...,..

I could be one of those men this weekend!!
