Plus 4 and raining when driving in.

Radio on and listening to the dulcet tones of Tom Clarkson commentating on practice from Melbourne.

David Bass was in this morning for a couple of lots before heading to ride at Bangor.

We worked some and jumped Biscuit, Agent Memphis, Rhaegar, Rockys Treasure, Harry Topper, Involve and Wandrin Star.

This weeks visitors from CD Tours for a morning on the gallops and breakfast were Martin and Mandy Hayes, Llio Rogers, Jonathan Burnand, Stuart and Sarah Perry

Dean Perkins was here to see his Imperial Racing horse Imperial Aura..

My sister Moo and her husband Peter Mordaunt were here third lot to see their Arakan gelding.. they stayed last night and we all went out for a rather good supper..

A man sends a text to his next-door neighbour:

“ Jim, I’m sorry. I’ve been riddled with guilt for some time & I have to confess:

I have been helping myself to your wife when you’re not around, probably more than you. I know it’s no excuse but I don’t get it at home. I can’t live with the guilt any longer. I hope you’ll accept my sincerest apology. It won’t happen again.”

Feeling outraged & betrayed, Jim grabs his gun, goes into the bedroom, and without a word, shoots his wife.

Moments later the man gets a second text:

“Really should use spell check! That should be ‘wifi’

On that happy note .. Have a great weekend and bewarned the clocks go forward one hour early tomorrow morning...no lie in..

For those of you who like your animals will enjoy watching this even if you can't understand what they are saying..

Oh by the way.. the flat racing season starts today at Doncaster..
