None other that John Perriss’s homebred filly I Spy A Diva..

Thrilled for John a there is nothing more rewarding as a owner/breeder than a home bred winner.. and being an GBB race, John had the added pleasure of the breeders bonus..

I Spy A Diva is the third generation I have trained for John and Penny Perriss.. I Spy A Diva's mother was Molly's A Diva and her mother was Smokey Diva.

A good sensible ride from David Bass who only a couple of months ago had more negative thoughts than positive thoughts about ISAD..Not now as he could hardly pull her up after passing the winning post. Time and patience and horses improve

I watched I Spy A Diva on my phone, in a lay by, on the way home from Newmarket and when, 3 furlongs from home, she looked like she was about to be swallowed up, my phone pinged with a message from Philip and Sandra Arkwright saying.. 'well done and great ride’’… Some delay on the screening of races on ones mobile..

We decided not to run Bobhopeornohope as Mat and David thought the ground was drying too quickly for him..

I spent the day in Newmarket with Aiden Murphy where the trade was very strong..

Aiden and I bought two horses.. Lot 7 Marton Abbey from Jacqueline Coward.. I bought Does He Know from her two years ago..I hope lightening strikes twice as this chaps looks progressive and is of course for sale..

The other horse I bought was Lot 17.. Chianti Classico (not a bad name?).. This stunning horse by Shantou is a hugely impressive individual and was very tenatious in his point.. Active and exciting.. Yes he is for sale..

Saturday morning and the last day of the 2020/2021 Jumps season..It has been a really good one for us.. It would be good toend on a winning note!

Paul Smith was here to see his KBRS horse Wild Presentation.
