Plus 7 and dry when driving in.. It promises to be dry all day.. a first this month.

It was awful driving to and from Ludlow yesterday.. Floods everywhere and shocking driving conditions..

Ludlow..I do like Ludlow and their course looked so green and healthy.. It was good proper winter jumping ground on a green carpet..Vermillion Rose (named by Thorndale Team member Hebe Lanyon ) ran a perfectly respectable first race to finish 4th in what most thought was a very competitive and tough bumper…..The winner finished 3rd to I Spy A Diva at Worcester..

Vermillion Rose will have learnt a great deal and will improve for the run.. She has lovely owners who were there to support.. This Horse Is For Sale partnership.. One of the partners is a bit older today..

Tuesday morning and ever hopeful for some summer now as we certainly need it.

Gillian Clough was here to see her KBRS horse Does He Know in the local Owdeswell paddy field and Alan James was here to see his KBRS horses Shinobi and Lord Apparelli.. all his others are out at grass..

Graham Potts our vet was in for his Tuesday visit

This weeks movers and shakers in the BHA handicap charts were.. Diamond Gait down 2 to 66 on the flat and Blazon up 1 to 66 also on the flat. Design Icon up 5 to 112, Fubar down 5 to 97, Shinobi down 5 to 117.

Talking handicapping.. You have to feel for the owners of Whose The Gov'Nr.. He was second to Design Icon last week off a rating of 94 and now when reassessed he has a rating of 111.. now you know why I hate being second!

The Racing Post has certainly covered most of Barney Curley’s life..

Finally the Japanese Doctor summed up:

Look mister, Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride my life was"!!!!

Eat whatever you like because you will still DIE, don't allow motivational speakers deceive you.

How did these doctors come to the conclusion that exercise prolongs life?

The rabbit is always jumping up and down but it lives for only 2 years and the turtle doesn’t exercise at all, lives 400 years.

So, Take some rest, Chill, Stay cool, eat, drink and enjoy your life. You will still die
