Plus 10 and starting to rain when driving in.
Great to be back at Cheltenham races yesterday, even without a runner. The new grandstand and walkway was spectacular and received rave reviews.
David Bass was in for one lot this morning. We work a few and jumped Policy Breech, Magic Money and Grand March over hurdles
Busy here this morning with most calling in before heading racing.
Stephen and Colin White, Ray Bennett, Roger and Sharon Cawte and Emma Tomes were here for ‘a morning on the gallops followed by breakfast’ as booked through CD Tours. John and Mandy Battershall (happy birthday John) were here to see their horse Younevercall while Duncan Williams was also here to see his horse Flemensmix .
Third lot 22 members of Henry Kimbell’s GSTTKPA Charity Partnership were here to see their horses King Simba and Allez Encore.
Those who came this morning included Alan Mclellan, Colin Wigmore, David Kimbell, Emma Stewart, Helen Polito, Ian Dodds-Smith, John Humphries, Rodney Offer, Rachel Hilton, Suzanne Proctor and Veronica Full plus partners wifes or husbands..
Fourth lot or 11..00 am Russell and Leslie Fields were here to see their horse Bandon Roc.
Also 4th lot Roger Hagan called in to see his ex horse Un Ace. Roger was involved in UA with his previouis trainer Ben Case.
We have no runners today although we have one tomorrow at Aintree.. Lady Of Llanarmon.. LOL is a very well bred filly by Yeats who will certain learn about racing tomorrow.. She needs to and David Bass rides here. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.
I am not racing today as Archie and I are heading to Twickenham.. Yes that should be a suitably bruising experience and tomorrow we have the Cotswold Team chase here in aid of the County Air Ambulance..
