Plus 8 and drizzling when driving in...

Good to be back at Hereford.

Both of yesterdays runners ran well.. Lady Gwen finished 4^th at Exeter although probably should have been promoted to 3^rd.. perhaps they thought one promotion in a month was enough after moving up from 3rd to 2^nd at Worcester in the days before flooding.

Gerard Mentor ran a blinder at Hereford but was 2^nd again.. the 4 lbs he was raised by the handicapper for his last 2^nd probably cost him the race..But it is always good to see the horses form continue in the right direction.

Steven, Claire and Oliver Baines were here for a Morning on the gallops followed by breakfast.

Paul and Didi Joslin were here to see their KBRS horses Shantou Express and Lets Go Amigo.. They also brought along, Angie Darbishire, Ruth Power and Annie Scott for a first visit to Thorndale…. They all had breakfast as well.

Tattersalls Horses In Training sales.. Day 2..We are going to try and buy one today!

Theoretically we should have a runner at Fontwell today..

Samatian who was taken out at Hereford last week because it was like a road and today at Fontwell they have to survive a 7.30 inspection to see if they can race.. weather forecast up to 40mm of rain!.. Anyway if he does go to Fontwell please click here for my thoughts on his chances... Racing Abandoned..

This evening I along with Jonjo O'Neill and Richard Pitman are talking Cheltenham Gold Cups at The Nook .. Its a sell out..

I spend 30/45 minutes most nights on my static bicycle. I do not enjoy biking, but it is all part of my rehab (apparently) and the only way I can do it is if I watch something of great interest on the TV screen in front of me....I have done the whole of Yellowstone and last night I finished the David Beckham Netflix 4 parter..

I am not really into my football but all I can say is that I really enjoyed it.. I had forgotten how the public hated him so much for being sent off..Hanging effigies for starters…. I would really like to meet DB..

Those who abused and were happy to be seen doing so I wonder how they feel when they see themselves on the Netflix..proud or really embarrassed?
